Judoka Mihail Latisev bagged a bronze medal at the European Cup U21 Bucharest in 2021, one of the top Junior judo events. He clinched the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Paks in 2022. He captured the gold medal at the European Open in Cluj Napoca in 2022. In 2022 he became Junior World Champion in Guayaquil. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2022. He took bronze at the GP Portugal in 2023.
