Elchin Ismayilov of Azerbaijan became European Champion in 2000, 2001 and 2005. He was 1999 and 2000 European junior Champion and won 5 World Cups. He was Europe’s best judoka U60 in 2000 but finished 7th at the Sydney Olympic Games. He won 15,000 USD at the World Masters Bucharest in 2002.
