Spanish judoka Ai Tsunoda finished fifth at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. He secured Junior world titles in 2021 and 2022 and clinched gold at the Cadet European Championships in Warsaw. Earned bronze at the 2024 European Championships in Zagreb. Ai also claimed the cadet world championship in 2019. Won the European Junior title in 2022. In 2023, she triumphed at the Grand Slam in Paris and earned silver in Baku, with bronze medals in Tokyo (2023) and Antalya (2024). Father Go Tsunoda is renowned for his coaching of elite judoka such as Jorge Fonseca and Telma Monteiro.
