Chinese judoka Shiyan Xu finished fifth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. She claimed gold at the Grand Slam Qazaq Barysy in Astana in 2023. Xu clinched a bronze medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2019. She bagged Grand Slam gold in Tbilisi in 2021 and silver at the Grand Slam in Antalya. She secured a silver medal at the Asian Championships in 2022. She secunred a silver medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2023.She took a bronze medal at the European Open in Rome in 2023. She captured bronze at Grand Slam Tbilisi in 2023. She won the Oceania Open in Perth in 2023.
