Judoka Adil Osmanov from Moldova won bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. He seized gold at the 2024 Grand Prix Upper Austria in Linz, followed by the victory at the 2024 Grand Slam of Antalya. He bagged a bronze medal at the 2023 Grand Prix Upper Austria. He captured silver at the 2019 Junior European Championships in Vaantaa (FIN). In 2021 he added bronze European U23 in Budapest and again bronze in 2022 in Sarajevo. He secured a silver medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2023. He was born in Moscow and moved to Chisinau in 2017.
