Japanese judoka Natsumi Tsunoda became World Champion in 2023 in Doha, gold in 2022 in Tashkent and 2021 in Budapest and was World silver medallist in 2017 in Budapest. She won the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016 and 2023. Tsunoda won the Grand Prix in Budapest in 2018 Tsunoda won the World Masters in 2018 in Guangzhou. Natsumi won the Grand Prix in Zagreb and she claimed bronze at the Grand Slam in Brasilia in 2019. Tsunoda book victories at the Grand Slams in Paris and Ulaanbaatar in 2022. She triumphed at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2024.
