Croatian judoka Katarina Kristo has swiftly risen in the ranks of European judo. Crowned Junior European Champion in 2021, Kristo's journey began with multiple golds at the Cadet European Cup in 2018. Her prowess extends to senior competitions, as seen in her silver at the Grand Slam in Paris (2024) and bronze at the European Open in Sofia (2023). Notably, she triumphed at the Grand Prix in Dushanbe (2023) and holds the title of 2020 Croatian Judo Champion at the senior level. She earned a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2024. Seized gold at Grand Slam Qazaqstan Barysy in 2024.
