Judoka Koji Komuro won the A-Tournament Budapest Bank Cup U66kg in 2000. He became World Champion veterans 2017 M3 -73kg. Komuro is two times world champion veteran as he got the title the first time in 2010 (then in 2017). In 2010, he also won the Kata World Championship (katame no kata) becoming the first judoka to win both a world title in shiai and kata.
