Kazakh judoka Abiba Abuzhakynova won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Tashkent in 2022 and in Abu Dhabi in 2024. Fifth at the 2024 Olympic Games. She claimed a silver medal at the World Junior Championships in Zagreb in 2017. She offcially switched from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan in 2017. Abiba was victorious at the Grand Prix in Portugal in 2023 and bronze in 2024. She captured bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris and Tbilisi in 2023. Abiba took bronze at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2024 and silver in Tashkent. She added bronze at the Grand Slam in Antalya and Abu Dhabi in 2024.
