Judo Scotland is part of British Judo but contributes heavily with own judoka such as Graeme Randall, the only Scottish Judo World Champion, Gemma Gibbons who won silver at the London Olympic Games, World medallists Euan Burton, Rio Olympic bronze medallist Sally Conway, Billy Cusack, Sarah Clark, David Somerville, James Millar and lots of other Scottish judoka. Judo Scotland organises with the British Judo Association the European Open in Glasgow. The 2014 Commonwealth Games were held in Glasgow. Also one of the 10 dan grade holders in the world George Kerr is from Scotland.
