The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a large country in the middle of Central Africa with over 90 million inhabitants. DR Congo have nev er won a medal in a World Cup or IJF World Tour event, but won a hand full of medals at African Championships. Benny MANTOTA, Tegra ELALI, Kalonji MBUYI and Eyale LE BEAU are the best seeded players in the World Ranking. Abel Ndengue (1996), Kevin Ngapoula Mbembo (2000), Tatiana Bvegadzi (2004), Lundoloki Kibanza (2008), Cedric Mandembo Kebika (2012) and Popole Misenga and Yolande Mabika in 2016 participated at the Olympic Games in the Refugee Olympic Team (ROT). Since April 2019 Marie Branser competes for DR Congo.
