Judo Heavyweight Rochele Nunes won the Universiade in Kazan (Student World Championships) in 2013 for Brazil. In 2019 she switched to Portugal. She took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2020. She claimed a bronze medal at the European Championships in Prague and bronze in Lisbon in 2021. She took silver at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv and Tbilisi in 2021. She secured a silver medal at the Grand Prix in Portugal in 2023. She triumphed at the Grand Prix in Dushanbe in 2023 and took silver in Baku. She captured gold at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2023 and bronze in 2022.
