Dutch judoka Koen Heg won the European u23 title in 2023 in Potsdam. In 2018 he won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Gyor. He clinched a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Malaga in 2019. He clinched a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Paks in 2019. He claimed the Dutch Junior title in 2020 and 2019. Koen took bronze at the Junior European Championships in Porec in 2020. He bagged a bronze medal at the European Open in Oberwart in 2022. In 2022 he added a bronze medal at the European U23 title in Sarajevo. He claimed the victory at the European Open in Rome in 2023.
