Iranian judo referee Keyvan Dehnad and judoka, born in Tehran. He is known as the first Iranian international referee authorized by the IJF and he was a referee for two decades at the major IJF and CISM judo events. Dehnad started judo age 8 and is black belt since 16. He attended the competitions of the Iranian national judo team. Dehnad has 8th Dan Judo. He has also authored and translated several books about Judo. One of his books is titled Judo: a sport and a way of life. His works are archived in Kodokan Judo Institute.
