Judoka Munir Ertug from Türkiye secured a silver medal at the Junior European Championships in Prague in 2022. He won the Cadet European Mixed team title with Türkiye in Warsaw in 2019. He captured the Turkish national title in 2021. He bagged a silver medal at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2022. He clinched the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Paks in 2022. With the team of Türkiye he took silver at the Junior mixed team European championships in 2022 in Prague. In 2022 he took silver at the European U23 title in Sarajevo. He secured a silver medal at Grand Slam Tbilisi in 2023.
