Six new title winners at German Championships

Finally Miryam Roper collected her German title. The last six years six different winners U57kg and on Sunday it was the former number one of the world Roper. The lady from Leverkusen won the title in the former capital of Germany against Johanna Müller of Berlin. Roper was proud : "It’s my first Senior German title, the one that was missing in my collection."

Another highlight was the victory of Marc Odenthal who celebrated his 24th birthday with his first title. In the final he defeated title holder Aaron Hildebrand on penalties.

 

Former Junior World champion Alexander Wieczerzak won the title U81kg. All champions of Sunday won their first title. Wieczerzak  won the final against Dominic Ressel with a choke. Sven Maresch is still injured.

A surprise was the title U73kg by Tobias Schirra who defeated Julian Kolein aus München and Christopher Voelk in the quarter final.

Vivian Herrmann won the title U63kg in the final against Michelle Huerzelerm despite tehe competition of Nadja Bazynski and Lea Reimann.

Melanie Gerber ended her career with the national title U70kg. Vargas-Koch won silver yesterday U78kg and Iljana Marzok was injured. Gerber defeated Anne Lisewski in the final.
