After announcing the draft Olympic team for men and women, Larbi Benboudaoud announced the French team for the European Championships in Lisbon to be held from April 16 to 18 in Portugal. The European Championships will see a full French team appear on the tatami, with eighteen participants.
The event that will serve as a justice of the peace for the French U70kg and the last Olympic place at stake for the women. Reigning European Champion Margaux Pinot has a big chance against World Champion Marie-Eve Gahie.
Clarisse Agbegnenou and Romane Dicko will not appear in Lisbon. Also Axel Clerget and Teddy Riner won’t compete either.
