The German Judo Association (DJB) has decided to suspend competition operations in all DJB leagues for the time being and for the time being without limitation. This regulation applies to the protection of athletes and all those involved from now on.

The Bundesliga committee will monitor the situation around the corona virus, advise regularly and coordinate the next steps. However, when and in what form league operations can be resumed is currently not foreseeable. The start of the 1st Judo Bundesliga men was originally scheduled for April 18, 2020 and is perhaps the strongest team competition in Europe where many international top athletes appear.
