As always the category for women is competitive at each World Tour event. In Düsseldorf some of the world’s best athletes are present including World Champion Tsukasa Yoshida of Japan and 2017 World Champ Sumiya Dorjsuren of Mongolia. It promises a spectacular fight for the gold medal on Friday.

Yoshida is in a pool with Corina Stefan (ROU), the 2012 Olympic finalist. But also Helene Receveaux and Amelie Stoll will fight for a quarter final place and if can keep Kim JiSu at a distance.

Sister Theresa Stoll is the favourite in Pool B perhap with Timna Nelson Levy and Oberwart winner Anna Borowska.

Dorjsuren will fight the winner of Mezhetskaia, who’s in good form, or Sabrina Filzmoser. Korean Kwon may be the second quarter final finalist. Nekoda Smythe Davis has a good draw to reach the quarter, and might be facing Olympic Champion Rafaela Silva in the quarter of Pool D.

In fact only the dominating Canadians and Nora Gjakova are missing in this battlefield.
