Former World Champion U60kg Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar simply loves the game of judo. Instead of his current job as coach he competed himself, in this case U90kg and took a silver medal. The gold at the Mongolian Championships went to Erdenekhuu Munkhjargal after two wazari scores. Khashbaatar retired in 2015 but he is comparable to Ilias Iliadis, where the blood goes, there’s judo inside.

Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar is the 2009 World Champion and 2004 Olympic bronze medallist in Athens. The Mongolian judoka is one of the legends for his country. He fought in four different weight classes and added the fifth category today. He won multiple Asian title and international IJF events. He is a stylist at the tatami and outside and became one of the head coaches of the Mongolian team.

Watch the results of the 2019 Mongolian Championships where Uuganbaatar Otgonbaatar won his fifth consecutive national title U81kg in the final against Bayanmunkh Gaajadamba.
