Many participants at IJF Refereeing and Coaching Seminar in Mittersill
14 Jan 2018 21:50

Marius Vizer opened the IJF Refereeing and Coaching Seminar in Mittersill. He joined the first day of the seminar. Hans-Paul Kutschera, President of the Austrian Federation, spoke some friendly opening words to the referees and coaches.
Marius Vizer: “I see there are a lot of participants and I hope the interest will be the same at the other continents. I wish you a successful year and future. We start the tournaments next week in Tunis, then Grand Slam Paris and Düsseldorf as Baku skipped the Grand Slam due to the World Championships organization. We trust your knowledge of the digested rules. We continue with the same strategy as it was established. Of course we continue with the rules but perhaps there will be some unexpected effects of the rules. So the team of technical and education will solve possible difficulties with you and we will adjust.”
The seminar was mainly led by IJF Head of Refereeing Juan Carlos Barcos. “We have the aim of making our sport more dynamic, interesting and easier to understand for everyone. We would like to make our sport safer, so that will mean that we will be sharp on landing on the elbows and also on the landing on the hands.“
