Celtus Williams Abiola Dossou Yovo of Benin participated in the African Championships in Libreville in 2015 where Celtus won one match and lost in his first match at the 2015 World Championships in Astana. The Two-time World Championships competitor caused a shock at the Rio 2016 Olympics by eliminating former Budapest Grand Prix winner Celio Dias (POR) by ippon with a tani-otoshi. He bagged a bronze medal at the African Open in Niamey in 2023. Seized bronze at 2024 African Open in Abidjan.
