Eduard Serban from Romania took the Cadet World title in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. He won the European Cup Cadets Zagreb and Ploiesti in 2017. He won the European Cup U21 in Cluj Napoca in 2018. Eduard Serban (ROU) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U90kg in 2017. He took bronze at the Junior European Championships in Porec in 2020. He claimed a gold medal at the European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2021.
