German judoka Amelie Stoll won silver at the national senior championships in 2014 and won various medals at Junior level. She won the senior European Cup in Saarbrucken in 2016 and took medals in Boras, Uster and Celje. In 2014 she won the European Cup for Juniors in Paks. She became European U23 Champion in 2017. She captured bronze at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017 where her twin sister Theresa won silver. She took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix Tbilisi and Tashkent in 2018.

Germany claims four gold medals at European Cup Sindelfingen

Germany was the strongest nation today at the European Cup in Saarbrucken, this year's host city after three years Sindelfingen. The German team won four gold medals and twelve medals in total. Belgium was effective with two gold medals and Romania grabbed one. The Netherlands was good but less effective with three lost finals. Read more

At the Junior European Cup in Paks 407 judoka experienced that Turkey took the lead in the medals table, followed up by Germany. Home nation Hungary took the third place of the medal table after the first day. Katinka Szabo and Szabina Gercsak claimed the gold for Hungary. Read more
