World Champions Teddy Riner of France and Tina Trstenjak of Slovenia will likely be announced as the winners soon of the IJF Prestige World Ranking List. An Chang-Rim second Korean to prolong Jeju title
Korean World bronze medallist An Changrim successfully defended his 2014 Jeju crown with victory against Belgian two-time world bronze medallist Dirk Van Tichelt in the U73kg final. An, 21, the 2014 Junior world champion, spectacularly won the final in just 40 seconds with a majestic ko-uchi-gari for the maximum score. Read more

Japanese champion Soichi Hashimoto wins Qingdao title
Japanese Soichi Hashimoto is another alternative U73kg. Hashimoto won the final of the Qingdao Grand Prix in style. Although he was not too familiar yet, he is in a great shape given his Kodokan Cup victory recently and now the Japanese champion followed up with an international victory in Qingdao. Read more

Preview Finals Day 2 in Qingdao
The second day of the Grand Prix final in Qingdao delivered some surprising finals. In the men’s categories U73 and U81 both finallists have never met before. Rustam Orujov will face Soichi Hashimoto. U81kg Goki Maruyama and Wang Ki-Chun will meet in an interesting Asian final. Asian judoka move up in World Ranking
In the IJF ranking Georgii Zantaraia is back at his number one position U66kg. He replaces Davaadorj Tumurkhuleg who was number one after Paris. At last weekend’s Grand Slam of Abu Dhabi where Zantaraia finished third, An BaUl of Korea was the winner and the world champion moved up to place 4, from 5. Read more
