Orkhan Safarov became World Championships silver medallist in 2017 in Budapest. He won the only Azerbaijan (silver) medal at the European Games in Baku and European bronze in 2017. Austria celebrated gold at the European Open for men in Oberwart on Saturday with Lukas Reiter who was the best judoka in the weight category with the most participants.
