Alan Khubetsov won gold at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2016 and Grand Prix in Budapest in 2018. Khubetsov won the European Championships U23 in Prague in 2012. He won gold at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2016. In 2017 he became European Senior champion in Warsaw U81kg. Alan won bronze at the IJF Masters in St. Petersburg in 2017 and 2019 and bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2019. World Mixed team bronze in Tokyo in 2019. He claimed bronze at the Grand Slam in Brasilia in 2019.

Zagreb opens the World Tour with new generation

This week the first IJF World Tour event will be held, in the beautiful city of Zagreb the top athletes will gain new points for a good seeing and slowly build up their Olympic cycle. It’s the fourth edition of the Croatian Grand Prix, first held in Rijeka, and since 2014 in the capital. Tbilisi winner Noel van ‘t End of the Netherlands did good business this week in the World Ranking as he jumped from 5 to 2 U90kg this week after his victory. Back to his best ever position where he was during his knee injury last year, but while being injured he lost a few places.
