Alan Khubetsov won gold at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2016 and Grand Prix in Budapest in 2018. He finished seventh at the 2020 Olympic Games. Khubetsov won the European Championships U23 in Prague in 2012. He won gold at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2016. In 2017 he became European Senior champion in Warsaw U81kg. Alan won bronze at the IJF Masters in St. Petersburg in 2017 and 2019 and bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2019. World Mixed team bronze in Tokyo in 2019. Khubetsov bagged bronze at the Grand Slam in Ulaanbaatar in 2023.
