Miku Tashiro won silver at the World Championships in Tokyo in 2019 and Baku in 2018. She won bronze in 2014 and 2015. Tashiro won the World Junior Championships U20 in 2010 in Agadir. She was World U17 Champion in 2009 U63kg. Tashiro won the IJF World Masters three times in a row in 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2017 Tashiro won gold at the Grand Prix in Hohhot and Grand Slam in Tokyo. Tashiro won gold at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf and Baku in 2019. World Mixed team gold in Tokyo in 2019.

Paris Grand Slam bronze medallist Nabekura Nami (JPN) defeated world champion Clarisse Agbegnenou (FRA) for the first time in a monumental victory to prise away the French superstar’s Masters crown.
