He took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Montreal. He claimed bronze at the Grand Slam in Brasilia in 2019.

Musa Mogushkov sweeps away the opposition for Russian gold

Russian judoka Musa Mogushkov beat Abu Dhabi Grand Slam silver medallist Akil Gjakova of Kosovo for the first time to win his third Grand Prix title. Gjakova beat Mogushkov in the semi-finals at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam two weeks ago but the latter avenged that result in today’s U73kg final after three and a half minutes of golden score. Germany claims the first European mixed title

The team of Germany has taken the first European Mixed title. In the final Germany was too strong for the Netherlands winning by 4-2. The city of Jekaterinburg hosted the first Europeam mixed event at senior level. At Junior and and Cadet level mixed team title were already introduced.
