Sanne van Dijke of the Netherlands became European Senior Champion in 2017 in Warsaw U70kg followed by the victory at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg. Van Dijke won the European title for Juniors and U23 in 2014. She won her first Grand Prix medal in 2015 in Dusseldorf. She took silver at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017 and 2018. She won bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2017. She took a bronze medal at the GS in Düsseldorf in 2018. She captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv in 2019.

The European Cup for Juniors in Wroclaw closed on a successful note for the Dutch team, with the first 4 national anthems ringing out for the Netherlands who collected 4 gold medals on the second day.
