Judo Heavyweight Rochele Nunes won the Universiade in Kazan (Student World Championships) in 2013 for Brazil. She won the Pan American Open in Lima in 2017. In 2019 she switched to Portugal and captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv in 2019 and took bronze at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg.
