Larissa Csatari of Switzerland won a bronze medal at the European U23 Championships in 2011. She won the European Cups in Sindelfingen in 2013 and in Bratislava in 2016. She won World Cup medals in Minks in 2013 and Warsaw in 2014. She took bronze at the European Cup in Uster in 2019. She claimed a bronze medal at the European Cup for seniors in Bratislava in 2019.

Khalmurzaev shows useful practise at European Cup Bratislava

Khasan Khalmurzaev seems ready for the Olympic confrontation with rivals Avtandili Tchrikishvili and Takanori Nagase. At the European Cup for Bratislava the Russian European Champion took the victory U81kg. In the final Khalmurzaev defeated Benjamin Muennich of Germany. In a field of 33 judoka Khalmurzaev won his five matches. Although very few Olympic athletes participated in Bratislava, the Russian team sent part of its first team. On Saturday Irina Dolgova won the U48kg category. Read more

Swiss Open first of 12 European Cups this season

The first of twelve European Cups this weekend will kickoff in Uster, near Zürich. The Swiss Open Judo is held for the second time as European Cup but has a longer history where great athletes appeared. Three years ago Tadahiro Nomura made a small comeback in Uster. One of the winners in 2012 was double World Champion Majlinda Kelmendi. Olympic champion Tagir Khaibulaev won in 2008. Olympic bronze medallists Charline van Snick won the edition in 2009. Read more
