Judoka Vincenzo Carabetta seized silver at the European Championships in 1994 in Gdansk. He won the A-Tournament Budapest Bank Cup U86kg in 1994 and took 8 World Cup medals. He contributed to the World team title with France in 1994. He is triple French champion U86kg. In 1996 he won the Kano Cup in Tokyo.
