Nazim Guseinov won the 1992 Olympic title in Barcelona. Although he is judoka from Azerbaijan in that time it was EUN as united nation that officially took the title. Guseinov was European Champion 1992 and 1993 and won two World Championships medals in 1991 and 1993. Guseinov was inducted into the IJF Hall of Fame in 2018.
