Emmanuel Lucenti won the Grand Prix of Cancun in 2017. He was 7th at the Olympic Games in London 81kg and ninth in 2016. The Argentinian judoka participated at many World Championships and three Olympic Games. He medalled at Panam Games and Championships since 2001 (junior) and 2006 (senior). He won various World Cups in Budapest 2009, Miami 2012, El Salvador and Quito 2019. In 2017 he won silver at the Pan American Open in Buenos Aires. Lucenti fought at World Championships his debut in 2007. He bagged a silver medal at the Pan American Championships in Guadalajara in 2021.
