Enku Ekuta was born and lives in Nigeria, West Africa, on the shores of the Gulf of Guinea. Enku Ewa Ekuta took a silver medal at the African Open in Yaounde in 2019 and bronze in Dakar. Both of her parents were judoka and her mum Ewa Catherine Ekuta was an Olympian herself. She competed in the Athens Olympics in 2004. Enka was barely five years old when she went there. She debuted at the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2021. She studies philosophy at the university.
