Ukraine not at the draw of the Junior Worlds in Odivelas

The draw of the Junior World Championships in Odivelas was conducted without the Ukraine delegation. The few days when Russian judokas under neutral banner and Ukrainians were all registered gave rise to a little hope.
The team of Ukraine has vanished with the withdrawal of all of Daria Bilodid's compatriots from the junior world championships which begins Wednesday in Odivelas, Portugal. Faithful to their decision not to take part in a competition where Russian fighters would be present, Ukraine will not be at this Portuguese event where their medal chances were mainly in U78kg with Yelyzaveta Lytvynenko, 2022 senior world medalist and third at the Masters in early August and Yuliia Kurchenko, finalist in the Croatian Grand Prix in mid-August.
