Kosei Inoue out of Olympic judo tournament

19 Aug 2004 13:10

Kosei Inoue has been beaten twice at the Athens Olympic Games, who would have thought that. Dutchman Elco van der Geest fought an extraordinary match. Van der Geest lead by a fast yuko because of a take over, and scored another one later. Inoue got back with a yuko, but 12 minutes for time Elco van der Geest beat Inoue with a low shoulder throw.

Thirty minutes later, Inoue was kicked out of the tournament by Moulud Miraliev.

Nicolas Gill was also sent to Canada on the first plain as well. He’s been beaten by Michele Monti who lost to Zeevi in the last seconds after a big lead. A little later Zeevi lost in his last seconds, leading by a waza-ari by Jang (KOR).

Surprises al over, but I final between Kosei Inoue and Nicolas Gill will never ever take place anymore
