Fabio Basile typical talent that gave his business card at Bremen Masters

This weekend the Masters Tournament in Bremen is one of those appealing youth tournaments. The tournament for young men is often a good grade for talent. Many talents who won in Bremen managed the reach the top.

At 21 March in 2009, exactly 8 years ago Fabio Basile won the gold medals for boys U17 years. Fighting U46kg he won the gold at the age of 14 and 7 years later he won the Olympic title. One year older Naohisa Takato was already fighting U60kg and won the Bremen tournament. That same day Khusen Khalmurzaev, the current #8 of the World Ranking U90kg won the category U81kg and his brother the Olympic Champion Khasan Khalmurzaev finished second in Bremen U73kg behind Izmail Khamkhoev. To confirm his talent Basile won the 2010 edition as well. Other winners at cadet level included Sergiu Toma, Masashi Ebinuma and Teddy Riner.

At Junior level in Bremen a few other talents popped up, Marcus Nyman, Yeldos Smetov, Alexandre Iddir, Takanori Nagase and Mashu Baker all won the tournament.

This weekend bot the International Bremen Masters as the women’s Thüringen Pokal in Bad Blankenburg takes place botch with an excellent international field.
