The United States of America squad includes Kayla Harrison, current Olympic Champion and 2010 world champion who is returning to the mat after a reconstructive knee surgery. In November of 2013 Kayla said to us that she is very focused to get back on the mat as soon as possible.

Leandro Cunha of Brazil also starts this week its first challenge in pursuit of the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. Coxinha, as he is known, is now fully recovered from a shoulder injury and ready for the first challenge which begins on Friday. Also it will be a new challenge ahead, because he changed category. Until last year he fought in the division up to 66kg, now he goes U73, like his opponents already did, such as Miki Ungvari and Rok Draksic. In the previous category I was already at the limit of weight and now I expect a greater challenge - the double World finallist said.
