In 2015 Paralympic judoka Zeynep Celik of Türkiye won bronze at the IBSA European Championships in Lisbon. She bagged a bronze medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. She became 2017 European Champion in Walsall. She claimed the bronze at the IBSA Grand Prix in Baku in 2019. She won the IBSA European title in Genoa in 2019. She took a gold medal at the IBSA Grand Prix in Nur-Sultan in 2022. She won the IBSA European title in 2022 in Cagliari. She became IBSA World Champion in Baku in 2022.
