Ukraine judoka Yelyzaveta Kalanina won the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Trabzon in 2011. She won European bronze medals U17 and U20. In 2011 she won silver at the World Cadet Championships and in 2015 bronze at the World Juniors. She captured silver at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv in 2019. Kalanina won a silver medal at the Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2017 and she won the European Open in Lisbon in 2018. She won European senior bronze in 2018. Kalanina won the Grand Slam in Baku in 2019. She claimed a bronze medal at the European Championships in Prague.
