Japanese judoka Rika Takayama was victorious at the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2024. She claimed the victory at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2022 and took bronze in 2023. She won gold at the European Open in Sofia. At the Grand Prix in Ulaanbaatar and GP Jeju 2015 she took bronze. Takayama won the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2018 and bronze in 2019. Takayama took silver at the GP in Budapest in 2018. She captured a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021. She won the Kodokan Cup in 2022. She bagged bronze at the Grand Slam in Ulaanbaatar in 2023.
