Korean Ki-Young Jeon was one of the best judoka of his country. He became Olympic Champion in Atlanta 1996. He was 1993 and 1997 World Champion and fought U78 and 86kg. Later he turned coach and raised a new skillful generation. IJF Hall of Famer since 2015. He is the new IJF Head of Refeering since 2021. Jeon was called 'Judo Genius'. Despite his height of 179cm, he reigned as the strongest in this weight U86kg. Jeon was appointed professor of Judo Department at Yongin University in 2005. He won the Tournoi de Paris in 1993 and 1997. He triumped at the German Open World Masters in 1994.
