French Ketty Mathe married in Turkey in February in 2015 and now fights for Turkey as Kayra Sayit. It brought her luck and she won the Grand Prix of Budapest. She won gold at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2016. Mathe had won a few World Cups before in Rome and Moscow and won big medals with France. She finished fifth at the Olympic Games in Rio. She won silver at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2017.

Yu, Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medallist, was only competing for the second time since Rio 2016. This weekend the World Tour moves on to Antalya in Turkey which is the new location for the Grand Prix held in Samsun over the past three years.
