At 26 August it’s usually time for the World Championships and we can remember some of the best athletes on this day with a world title. Mongolia doesn’t count too many world titles, but at 26 August both Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar and Urantsetseg Munkhbat won the world title. France leads the tango at European Open in Madrid

At the European Cup in Madrid in France, Russia and Germany were the best nations at day one. Irina Dolgova was the expected winner in the women’s lightweight division U48kg. Russian team expected to be announced after IJF confirmation

Almost traditional the Russian team is testing a few athletes at the European Open in Madrid. In 2012 the Russian team sent the full 2012 Olympic men’s team to Madrid: Galstyan, Mogushkov, Nifontov, Denisov, Khaibulaev and Mikhailin. Only Isaev didn’t fight. This year we may see the 2016 Olympic team. Both the men and women have strong names. Read more
