Georgian judoka Mikheili Bekauri took a silver medal at the European Cadet Championships in 2017 in Kaunas. He won the European Cup Cadets Tula and Bielsko Biala in 2017. He won the Junior European Cup in Leibnitz in 2019. He took bronze at the Junior European Championships in 2019 in Vaantaa. With the Georgian team he won the bronze medal with the junior mixed team in 2019.
