German judoka Raffaela Igl became Youth Olympic Champion in 2018 in Buenos Aires. She bagged a bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in 2021. She secured a silver medal at the European U23 Championships in Potsdam. Raffaela took a bronze medal at the Cadet Worlds in Santiago de Chile in 2017. She captured the gold medal at the European Open in Gyor in 2024. Igl led the IJF WRL cadets U70kg in 2018. She won the European Cup in Celje in 2022 and took bronze at the European Open in Sofia in 2023 and silver in Rome in 2023. Igl won bronze at the EC in Dubrovnik in 2023.
